bruce: Ooops hit the wrong button.. anyway I'm putting on a game at the store next saturday. I really need to know the effects of the black fog and the green gas globules. There's not explanation for them in the starter rules.

americanelm: You should ask about the Rough Riders, too. They are included in the starter set , and are in the only scenario in the box, but there is no mention of any special skills that they might have.

bruce: I know they want us to buy the rule book and will do so, but man it will be a bit embarrassing saturday if I can't explain the black dust or the green gas

Buckybits: I've been planning a "quick reference" guide for my own usage (don't like flipping through books in-game), I'll post a link here once it's ready.

Buckybits: Or maybe I'll hold off on the quick reference until I have more time and the server isn't freaking out on us...

bruce: I'm assuming the gas and fog do not affect steam tanks. The descriptions reveal the affects of how they an element would die. You score a hit against infantry with the fog or gas, the element is remmoved dying from said fog or gas. simple and I like it.

bruce: thanks gamesnesto! I'll keep an eye on the board, between work and everything else, I'm in a race to against time to be prepared for the Saturday.

SableFox: bruce - why would BD and GG not effect vehicles?
Aug 27, 2014 19:50:03 GMT
Mokman: I am curious about this as well. There is nothing specific in the rules that BD and GG would not effect vehicles, just the fluff of what they do. One could rationalize that vehicles of this era are far from airtight and therefore vulnerable.

leesw: I think the only thing Immune at this point might be Heavy Infantry need to reread the rules for them.

clivedudley: My review of All Quiet On The Martian Front has been published in Wargames Soldiers and Strategy magazine! Issue 74, page 72. Just after an AD advert. Hope you all like it. My first time in print.

Aug 29, 2014 9:42:50 GMT
bruce: with rifles? tentacles in the close assault. roll 2d10, one for each tentacle? is there any particular terror effect or power bonus?
Aug 29, 2014 9:52:34 GMT
turno: 1 attack per infantry stand - assault tripods can't assault
